Rent spare room to two girls (19 and 20)?

If you're able, get references. Although 19 and 20 might not have references from previous landlords, which would be the most valuable kind. Like renting to any tenant that age, it pays to be cautious.

Putting up with 2 girls might be a little difficult, I'd rent to just 1 if I could
 
Now that I think back to repressed memories I've tried to forget I'd say don't do it. I've lived with 3 women and it was a friggin' nightmare.

I hope you don't get a feminist.
 
First thing, how many bathrooms? Are they gonna bitch about the toilet seat being left up? Or worse, will they complain about the pubic hair and urine around the shrine? Second, do either of them cook? Third, are they hard core lesbians? Fourth, is there any possibility they will shower together, you know, to save time?

 
Also think about the jackass guys the chicks could bring over. They might get into your stuff without asking, messing with your computer, etc. Talk about being PISSED after that happens.

It sounds really cool and fun but I sure as heck wouldn't do it. It seems as if it is contrary to conventional wisdom, but I have found that most girls at that age (and older) are very disorganized and dirty - not like pizza crusts on the floor dirty, but laundry, shopping bags, and just odds and ends all over the place. Additionally as somebody else mentioned, the drama of living with two girls in the same house would get crazy wild after a week. Furthermore they may already have boyfriends or other entanglements and the last thing you want is a bunch of guys coming on over to hang out.

I don't think it would be worthwhile myself.

Shut up about the roommates being hot -what, are you going to video tape them while they sleep, have a drunken 3 way or (more realistically) lock yourself in your room whenever they have a new random guy friend over every night. This isn't a late night showtime movie, this is the real world.

One of my female roommates was insane to live with during that very special time of the month. Never mind blood on the toilet or used tampons in the trash - we'd get into MASSIVE fights over nothing... But one of my new female roommates is a close friend and a joy to live with, while I never see another one because she's always moody and in her room (depressing as hell too).. so, yeah...
