Removing uninstalled program's folders

I'm pretty sure this has been asked millions of times, but I couldn't find any topics using cleaner, clean, scan, and scanner as keywords when I tried to search for a thread. I just want to know what is a good program to clean out folders of programs that have been uninstalled. I notice that sometimes when I uninstall a program sometimes the folders stay in the program files directory. I use TuneUp Utitiles RegistryCleaner program, but that doesn't seem to do the trick? Thanks.

I usually click the folder in Explorer and hit "DEL". 😛

EDIT: I wouldn't trust any utility that empties or deletes a folder that's not C:\TEMP or C:\WINDOWS\TEMP,
