on my computer, my shortcut icons (shortcuts that point to executables) don't have that dumb little white box w/ the arrow in the bottom left corner on them....i can't remember how i removed them though.

i would like to remember...can u please help little nortexoid remember how?

PowerToys for XP from M$. (Tweak UI for XP) But I think they are not offering the download right now from M$.com.

Xteq's X-Setup is a free tweaking app that will allow you to get rid of the shortcut arrow. There are hundreds of other tweaks you can do with this program. It's way more powerful than TweakUI.

M$ pulled TweakUI from it's site a few months ago, I think they claimed it would be back up around the end of April.

i figured it out about 1 min. after i posted this...i browsed the tweak UI panel and saw it...stupid me

thanks anyway..and that x-setup's a good link...i'll check it out.
