Removing the Front Bezel

I recently got this case:

and I am having some difficulty removing the front bezel so that I can remove the Cover for the Drive Bay. I read on the AnandTech review that there are 4 screws to remove, but I cannot locate these screws. Has anyone had any similir experiences, or just anyone who knows how to fix it?

from what i can see, you take a flat head screw driver and drive it between the silver and the black. move the screw driver left and right and it should come off. that's how most cases are built anyway.

I havn't tried that, but I have tried like Ripping it off.

The top half of the bezel is composed of five 5-1/4" drive bays, all with mesh covers. These can be removed to install drive bays by detaching the bezel (there are four screws to be undone before the bezel can be taken off). Since the manual stated nothing about the screws, it took a bit of time for us to figure out that we had to unscrew the bezel, unlike other cases that have easy pull-off bezels.

I don't see any 4 screws though.

There aren't any screws on mine either. I think they are talking about the individual drive bay covers. I don't have much trouble taking off the front of mine; I just pull it off without doing anything fancy (you can latch on to that part at the top of the case), removing each of the six tabs one by one. The screwdriver thing works but tends to put small scratches/dents in the case, so I wouldn't advise doing that.

Ok thanks everyone, I got it opened. Yeah, no screws were needed... I just had to carefully pry it open

Something else you should do is cut down the "tabs" that are on the inside of the whole for your optical drives. There are four of theses plastic tabs, two on each side, they restrict the movment of the front panel so you can only slide it off. I found that when i went ot put the front back on, it wouldn't slide over my dvd burner, so i got my trusty pocket knife and cut 'em down. Now the front slides on and off easy! Just thought you might want the tip...
