Sometimes it is nice to have past searches show but most of the time it is annoying. Is there a way to clear it that applies to any or all search engines? Thanks, Ron

well, in IE, going to tools...internet options...then clicking "clear history" should get rid of any of that for *most* search engine

I have also found it useful to explore windows temporary internet files and delete the cookies that have been saved up over time.

Yea...if you have IE 6, you can do all that from the same control panel: tools, internet options, and it's under temporary internet files. I think you're talking about AutoComplete...which gives you a list of what you previously searched for if you search, say, under Google. To clear this go to Tools | Internet Options | Content | Autocomplete (under personal information) -> and clear what you want. Hope this helps!

Thanks! I found it and it works fine.
It's under Tools, Options, Content Tab, Auto Complete button, Auto Complete History Clear Forms button. Thanks again. Ron
