I really like my old Motorola E815 phone, but somehow* I picked up a scratch on the front screen. Is there any way of simply and cheaply polishing them out or should I live with it?

*actually I know how it got scratched. Whenever my wife borrows my phone she inevitably puts it down face down. I've given up trying to correct her on that, figuring its better to for domestic harmony just to live with it.

Might want to take it to a jeweler's that specializes in watch repair. I've had scratches to the crystal on my watch polished out a few times.

It can sometimes be polished out with silver polish or jeweler's rouge on a clean cloth wrapped over your forefinger.

I've got the same phone, although my problem is with the got-damn dust inside the screen. It's almost unreadable in direct sunlight, and I've only had it for a couple months!

whatever you do, don't try Brasso. Someone recommended that to me, and it made my scratches worse. Ugh.
