Removing Retail Intel Slot One HSF

Deos anyone know if there's a way to remove an Intel Slot One retail HSF without breaking the pins? Can they be pushed back through without breaking something? Thanks.

OMG ~ blast from the past!

good thing i remember how to do this.

use 4 case screws~
lay them face down on a table~
place the cpu on the 4 screws, backplate side down~
align the 4 screws to the 4 holes to pop the pins out~
press down firmly but carefully~
the pins will pop loudly but will not break~
make sure all 4 are popped out and youre done.
