i got a samsung 160 gig harddrive installed and during the process i added a partition through the windows XP installation CD in fat32 and now i'm missing 140 gigs. is there a way to remove the partition through XP or do i have to reformat the harddrive and reinstall it? and if so how do i do either?

you can try disk administrator. control panel->administrative tools->computer management->disk management

last night i tried the disk management and i was able to recover 92 gigs of memory which i had to format and give it a drive letter but the original 20 gigs that i partitioned is still partitioned and in fat32 and i'm still missing about 50 more gigs which the computer doesnt rcognize is there. should i just format and start from scratch ? and if so how do i do it in windows xp? if there is a way to wipe the partition where can i do it i cant seem to find it in disk management?
