Removing OLD Drivers/Hardware

Rotax

Senior member
I removed a wirless card that I had installed in 3 diff slots in my system and wondering how to go about removing the 'ghost' versions of this driver/hardware? I know its possible, some kinda switch in starting the device manager, just can't seem to find the correct procedure for it off hand...

TIA.

You can start, by going to "run", msconfig/startup, and uncheck the offender. Then add/remove programs in control panel. If that dosn't do it, regedit is your friend.
