Is there any use for this key and how do I remove it permanently?

Whenever I delete it manually, it always comes back after a reboot.

HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run
 
It's part of the Synchroniation Manager (Start>Programs>Accessories>Synchronize) which I've never seen anyone use. Just one more thing to slow down the boot time as far as I'm concerned. I don't know how to remove it permanently if it comes back after a reboot. I usually just go into the Synchronize program itself and turn everything off.
