i had fun playing and learning with linux but i have to remove it now because im selling my system. how do i go about removing linux from my system? there is LILO on bootup. other than that i dont know what information i shoudl tell you. please let me know if you know anything that could be of help.

Get a Windows startup disk and boot to it. at the command prompt type 'fdisk /mbr' to get rid of LILO, then type 'fdisk' to use fdisk to remove the linux partitions.

If you know the name of your harddrive manufacturer you could also just download a program from the manufacturer's website that would do a one step wipe of the entire harddrive.

yeah your best case is boot your computer with the floppy disk that come with your hd when you bought and delete every single partition in there. Don't even mess with the FDISK
