Removing linux? please help

How can i remove the linux os and its partition so that i can reformat the drive to nfts? is there a specific way or can partition magic do it? Also how can i make sure that the boot loader (GRUB) goes away so i boot straight into windows? Last time i fiddled with that i couldnt load either os

I believe you're supposed to boot Win9x from a floppy, then run FDISK /MBR. Look it up on Google--I think I also read about it in Red Hat's knowledge base.
 
Delete the partition using fdisk

If you have a Windows 2k/XP cd, boot off of it and type fixmbr in the recovery console.
 

you should be able to format the entire drive from a windows install ..

just boot using your windows install cd ... and then delete all partitions ... and then format the whole drive
 
My first question is why would you want to uninstall linux?

make sure to do a fdisk /mbr or grub/lilo (whatever you have on) will not be removed.
