Removing hard drive from sony vaio pcg-505fx

Can someone please tell me how to replace a hard drive from a sony vaio pcg-505fx. I removed all the screws from the bottom of the laptop, yet it refuses to come apart from where the base meets the monitor. I can see the hard drive, but I just can't open it wide enough for me to get get the screw out. Thanks!!!!
