OKay, so here's the deal... I botched a driver install for Creative SBL! 5.1, and now they won't uninstall. No matter how many times I try uninstalling it, it still shows up in the Add/Remove Programs list. I can't install new drivers, because it's giving me an error (which I know is caused by the old drivers still being there). Are there any programs that I can use to remove this?

Do a search on the Live! CD or in your Program Files/Creative directory for a program called CTZAPXX.ece. Run it and click on Driver Uninstallation. After it's done, restart the computer. After you restart, delete your Creative directory and empty the Recycle Bin.

If that doesn't work, download Driver Cleaner and follow its readme.

Got to soundblaster.com knowledge base.

Use search phrase 'remove drivers'. You'll have to next-page a few times, but you'll find a detailed description to cleansweep/uninstall. Print that out and use it. I used it to successfully remove the Creative drivers.

Hope this helps!
