I have a live concert, and I want to rip the audio from it so I can listen to it w/o watching the DVD.

I was curious if any of you guys knew the best way that I could remove the audio (high quality) from the DVD.

Thanks.

What if I just want audio? It's also decoding the video too, and I don't want that only because I am low on space.

f1br0pt1kl, here's what you need to do:

1) Open Smartripper and click on the tab at the top labeled "Steam Processing"
2) Click on "Enable Steam Processing" then uncheck the boxes next to Video NTSC, Subtitles and Others. Do not uncheck the box next to the Audio AC3
3) On the right side of the screen click on "Demux to extra file"
4) Click start and Smartripper will copy only the AC3 file from the DVD

When Smartripper is done you will need to use Azid or GraphEdit to convert the AC3 to a wav file then you can use any MP3 encoder to convert the wav file to a Mp3.
