Removing/Adding Items from/to the System Tray

I'm wondering how I remove/add a couple of programs from/to my system tray so that they don't/do start-up when I boot my computer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It usually inside the startup folder.
If any particular program that you want to turn it off
right click on those icon and see if there's an option not to start it during startup.
if not check the program preferences. They usually have an option.

if those still not good enough try to search for a program in zdnet download section. I haven't use any program to remove it laltely since I was able to turn it off by using above method.

Do a search on your windows folder to "msconfig" double click this file and choose the last tab (do not f#$^k around with the win.ini files etc...) on this tab you can enable/disable checkboxes. After you have done this do a reboot (win will ask you this) and than these items will not be loaded in your tray
