removeable mobo tray

I have a removable mobo tray in my Wavemaster. Its a plus but its not going to make or break a case.

I think it's something that once you've had it, you won't want one without it. It makes frequent upgrades much easier.

Bigger picture: if you wouldn't mind a case without a removable mobo tray, Newegg has a good buy on the Antec SLK3700AMB here, $65 with FREE shipping (usually shipping sets you back about $15-18 on a case). The power supply is good and it's not too hard to work with even without a removable mobo tray. I have a whole bunch of pictures of how it comes apart right here if you want to see it up close and personal 🙂

There are lots of good cases out there. There are far fewer that come with good power supplies. This one is respectable. Weigh that in your decision too, no matter what you get.

the key word there is frequent. if you're just gonna put it in and not touch it again for a year, then no, you don't need a removable tray.

Not having a removable tray is the only thing I begrudge the SLK3700AMB.

Also if you already have a good PSU you can get the case from Directron.com with a PSU delete option for hella cheap.
