Remove steering wheel lock? HELP!

try this - with a ratchet strap. Worked great on a valuable classic. (note this was a cheaper "club" with a complex 4-point key. (locked it before I realized I had the wrong key. whoops!)

Angle grinder...cordless is the best option. I cut through the "Twin Hooks" model ~3 min with ease. Put the blade in one of the grooves in the chrome shaft

Since it's been 8 years, I think the problem has been solved already...
 
My gf put the club on without realizing that we no longer possessed the keys to the club. Need to remove it so we can use the vehicle!

My Club stopped working (the key would no longer go in??!) so I couldn't drive my car. I called AAA but they said they would have to TOW THE CAR! Forget that ... I walked to Home Depot and bought a Ryobi Cordless Brushless 4-1/2 in. Cut-Off Tool/Angle Grinder. It went through the Club in about 30 seconds! I was happy to be able to drive away, but it did make me wonder how much protection you actually get from a Club if they're that easy to cut through.
