My first post so be gentle.
I have Win98 installed on Primary partition and NT4 installed on first logical drive in extended partition. I would like to remove NT4 create another primary partition and install Win2000. I have PM6. If I format the NT partition and shrink the extended partition and then create another primary partition for Win2000 will this work? Do I have to run fdisk/mbr to remove the NT bootloader. Which should I do first the fdisk/mbr or the partitioning stuff? I also have other logical drives in the extended partition and a second hard drive installed with one primary partition and an extended partition with more logical drives. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks Keith:confused:

So you have a dual boot now correct? NT and 2k are not compatible as far as NTFS goes. I'd delete the extended partion with NT, boot to 2k then install. Besure not to install on primary or say bye bye to 98. 2k boot loader should take over for ya. Hope this helps.
