call me a pessimist, but are you sure your 'friend' is selling it for cheap?

I mean, if he cared enought to have it engraved....

Nah, my friend offered to sell his iPod to me for cheap, but its engraved :|.

what kind of friend deosn't just give you his ipod ? and if he's your friend why don't you want his name on there to remind you how much he's your friend ?
Because then everyone will accuse him of having stolen it?

your sarcasm meter must be broken
Ha ha. Your's must....

Think about it

Take it to the tattoo place and have them do an eagle with a snake in it's talons over top of the name. That's what you do when you don't want someone's name on your arm any more. It oughta work out pretty okay.

This is the correct response. I really like the black iSkin with the dark blue shade for my iRiver.

However, I've now lost my iRiver, but have the skin still. I live in a constant world of pain.

I have a black iSkin for my iRiver too. But i still have my iRiver! 😀

use a scotch-brite scrubbing thingy and just go back and forth with it on the ipods backside. this will give it a brushed metal look and make the engraving invisible. yes im serious.
