Yup, open regedit, go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Kazaa/Advanced

Edit the key "MaxSearchResults" (change to decimal before editing) type in, oh I dunno... 400? close, open up Kazaa and voila! 🙂

Edit
Hmm... It doesn't really seem to work... I still max out around 120-140 🙁

Yeah, could be that it's a limitation coded into the Fasttrack network code.

There's a registry key called LimitBitRate that's set to 128, which limits MP3 searches. To remove the limit, you set the value to 0.

Maybe setting the MaxSearchResults key value to 0 might work.

How about this reg. entry it tries to insert, what's this about?

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
"b3dUpdate"="C:\\WINDOWS\\BDE\\Update\\Zupdate.EXE -silent -p \"C:\\WINDOWS\\BDE\\Update\" -s setup.cab"

From the morpheus homepage:

We understand that some of you are having difficulties connecting to your Morpheus User Network. As you know from recent newsletters, Morpheus has been preparing to substantially upgrade the Morpheus software. Unexpectedly, one of our software providers made a significant upgrade to their technology that is currently incompatible with Morpheus.

We share our Morpheus users' frustration with this action and are committed to getting you back up on the network as soon as possible. As a result, we are accelerating the release of our new Morpheus software and within days expect Morpheus users to enjoy the Morpheus Preview Edition. The Morpheus Preview Edition will provide enhanced capabilities, a new, easy-to-use interface and most importantly, will provide access to more search results. In addition, we want to assure our users that, unlike other peer-to-peer networks, we remain committed to a free software product without spy ware.

I don't know but kazaa still works if you remove it.

What's the point of dling it. Most ppl out there don't know about it. If you have it, but nobody else does then whats the use?

Right now I'm still connected to Morpheus, and there are about 555 users online right now. With about 5 GB of files.

Ok this is that annoying 3d talking ad thing that kazaa has in its web interface. It will install on first use unless you disable scripts in IE for Kazaa. You can uninstall it through add/remove programs.

<< for those with pending downloads just copy the contents of your shared folder or the specific file in to the kazaa shared folder (ie kazaadownload11111.dat). Now you should be able to resume your download on Kazaa. good luck >>

Is this actually working for anyone? I was a Morpheus user but even before it disconnected me, the completed files would never be converted from their DAT files to what they're supposed to be (MP3. zip, avi). The DAT file is still there whenever it is completed and it shows completed on Morpheus. I tried transferring all the DAT files to Kazaa's folder and it recognized them, continuing the download, and then completed. However, once again, it never actually converted the DAT files. Is anyone else having this problem? The weird thing is, if I start a new download (without using a previous .dat file), it will work fine and convert the DAT file once it is finished. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jon

ok, what would you guys recommend using, Kazaa, or something else? i'm using Grokster right now and it's running fine, has been for awhile, but it goes down periodically,

HELP, i need more MP3's

bonk 102, stick with your grokster for now--it's same as kazaa but newest kazaa has even more crap in it.
