Hi neighbors

I recently uninstalled google chrome via revo uninstaller.
After re-installing google chrome, all of the download folder options, etc., were configured as per the prior install (which was uninstalled).
How do you completely remove google chrome?

Thank U

I'd uninstall it wit Windows uninstaller, then go into AppData(hidden directory) and look in the folders there. Delete any references to Chrome you see there. The You shouldn't find anything in Local low, just Roaming, and local.

IIRC revo uninstaller only remembers the files that were installed during the installation. Your settings were created after the installation.

Go to Start > All Programs > Google Chrome > Uninstall Google Chrome.
If you want to delete your user profile information, like your browser preferences, bookmarks, and history, select the "Also delete browser data" checkbox.
Select the default browser you'd like to use.
Click OK in the confirmation prompt.

easy solution: reinstall chrome, and use the chrome uninstaller, check all the "remove xyz" boxes, and then reinstall it again.
Next time don't use crappy third-party uninstallers.
Chrome is not norton antivirus, you don't need that kind of software for safe stuff. Use it for sketchy software.

It doesn't work by magic. Those files are in there somewhere. I agree a reinstall is extreme. Did you check the AppData directory?
