I saw a thread earlier where someone deleted WIN2K and wanted to get rid of the dual boot screen. I want to do the opposite. Unbelievably I can do anything and everything I could ever need to do with just WIN2K. so, my question is, if I delete WINME from my D: drive is there a way to get rid of the dual boot screen on startup. WIN2K is on my C: drive.

Thanks for any input.

you could just set the screen as a timer of 0, its somewhere in system prefs, like startup options or something in the last tab (cant remember, in 98 right now)

Save copy of Boot.ini file on the root (boot) drive. Remove read only attribute. Edit and remove the line that refers to your d: drive or your windowsME bootup option. Save the file and change the attribute back to read only. Reboot the system - boot menu gone. Done it many times.
