i took my car to an inspection and they wrote a number on my window with some window paint. how do i remove it? i tried washing it with no luck...any special chemicals from home depot or something? need it done asap. thanks

Before a razor, I'd use acetone or a paint remover. Still I would ask the inspector WTF he wrote on the window with...usually they use a water-soluble paint or one with a low adhesion.

Should have mentioned Isopropyl alcohol...esp 93% or better. Much milder than acetone and the like...however it can still mar surfaces.

I use alcohol or a razor. IIRC, bug-b-gone works too.
