I had a problem with Win2k so since I was already dual booting I decided to stick with 98 until I have problems with that and reload 2k.

I formatted the partitions that 2k was on and made them fat32. How do I get rid of the bootloader at startup now?

Use a boot disk from Win98 and boot with the diskette. At the a: prompt, type in (without the quotes) "sys c:" . That will rid ya of the bootloader.
