Remove ban on swearing on AT forums?

Since forum members have many creative, and not so creative, means of pseudo swearing...why have a ban on swearing on at forums at all?

For the sake of time, I will not collect and catalogue foul language replacements that so many of us use with abandon. Other may do so at their own risk.

I am just curious, why bother not allowing proper spelling of "less than wholesome" explicatives...I mean, if AT is going to provide a virtual habitat to waste time AT should at least promote good spelling habits.

exactly...this is what I'm talking about. My time is valuable and I don't need to waste time making single letters bold in my swearing...the madness has to end.😀

Then again, how is this really different from us showing the whole breast, but covering the nipple on TV?
 
anyone realize that filters are there to help you follow the rules.

By reformatting output to get around them is almost always possible, however; that now puts you into violating TOS.

Same way of circumventing sites that do not allow images posted.
