Remotely Shutting down pc

I'm a Windows NT Workstation 4.0 user in a local net, I'd like to know how to shut down, say my partner next door's pc from mine.
All i know is i need to know the name of the pc i wanna shut down, where do i take it from there?

Get the NT Resource Kit, it has a command line program called shutdown and put it on the client you are going to issue it from and it will cause the remote PC to shutdown and you can have it reboot if you tell it to...

When I was in class studying for my MCSE one of my classmates and I used to have a war playing jokes on each other. The best I came up with was writing a batch file which changed his boot.ini file and then automatically shutdown his system on boot-up. He couldn't reboot. EXCELLENT!
