remote motor starter....

my gf wants to get a remote motor starter for her new car (09 Corolla S)....

Should she go the OEM root? I question if they would have ate the installation cost if my gf asked them to install it before they buy, but then again, they probably would have just added that on to the bottom line.

If she goes the OEM root, will they give my gf a new key fob, or will she get a new fob whether she goes the 3rd party root or not?

At first I thought you meant starter motor, now I've figured out you mean remote starter.

hmmmm...they took down the page.....

oh well...it was essentially a $68 "motor starter add-on". You install it and hit the unlock button three times for it to start. they claimed it was OEM, but I doubt that part.
