remote LAN audio

Is there some app out there (winamp plugin or standalone) that will make all the sounds happening on my comp be sent over the LAN to another comp and played through ITS sound card?

A cheap way would be to make a Remote Desktop Connection, and then require "Remote Computer Sound" : "Bring to this computer". But I'm sure there's a more efficient program for this.
