Remote Desktop

I've got a machine running XP Pro that functions as my HTPC. Since its only monitor is my non-HD TV, I've set up Remote Desktop. I can connect just fine and all, but I noticed that when I connect remotely from another computer, I can see the HTPC on the remote computers monitor, but the HTPC's monitor (the TV) has has been kicked out to the Windows Login screen. Is there some setting I'm missing that will allow me to conect remotely while at the same time staying logged-in on the HTPC?

Thanks.

This is a restriction in place on XP. The only way to get around this is to use hacked files, that may or may not be a violation of the EULA.

Using VNC is the best alternative

i would say thats a violation of the EULA if you do the hacks since your basically using it on 2 pc or whatever MS wants to call it. use VNC instead of remote desktop.

I've tried a few hacks to get around this limitation, but I was never successful. I use VNC if I need to be sure that the user doesn't get kicked out. Otherwise remote desktop seems much faster and has some cooler features than ultra vnc.

Can someone give me a link to where I can get UltraVNC please?

I've used it before and really liked it, I just can't remember where I got it. I did a google search, but I don't trust random places, I'd rather get it from somewhere that people trust.

Thanks.
