We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. I have used teamviewer and join.me in the past with my same laptop with no issues. however now i cannot view other people's desktop. They can view mine but i cannot see their desktop.

do you have remote desktop enabled and are you on a domain? on the same LAN? remote desktop is off by default, and if youre not on a domain then you will have to have an account on each workstation you wish to connect to
do other people have xp pro, or xp home, or something else (that is, did you mean you are all using xp pro, or just you personally)? the device you are trying to remote has to support remote desktop, which isnt available in xp home and some versions of vista/windows 7, but they should support remote assistance
