I have just made a win2k pro server, is there any sort of free remote desktop client that will allow it to be the host? The Microsoft Remote Desktop I found is apparently only for client and cannot host. Or am I wrong?

It's going to sit in a closet where I won't be able to access it easily, thats why I need remote desktop.

I know 2k AS comes as a terminal server, but I don't know about the other versions of 2k. If your version doesn't support it, you might want to look into VNC. Over a local network, both are lightning-fast, though Remote Desktop / Terminal Services is better for lower-bandwidth connections.

VNC = virtual network conection or something along the lines of that?

Can I remotely go into my 2k pro server box on my XP Pro box with VNC? without touching the server box?
