Remote Desktop doesn't show LOGIN

I don't know what the problem is..... I tried unchecking it, rechecking it, I have no firewalls blocking it.

When I connect from another computer, it shows the screen with the blue background fine but no login box comes up for the password so I can't connect to my computer.

Any ideas?



okay i found a work around... justincase anyone cares !


basically what you do is enable the login information to be entered in the computer u are logging in from by running mmc.exe and creating a group policy (detials on MS page) and setting it to allow auto login (its really just enter the PW before u hit the connect button).

and it works very nicely, otherwise the problems still there
 
On the computer you may need to change the colors to 16 colors or try turning down the resolution. Ive seen this fix your problem.
 
I will try but i doubt it. I've been running on 32bit forever and it used to work fine on both of my old computers this way, and on this one now. I don't know what changed since i formatted.
