Hey guys,
Not sure if this belongs here or in Software.
Facts:
Last week, when I logged into my machine via RDP (on a different network), I had no problems.
Today, when I log into RPD, I get a black screen that never resolves to anything.
Over the weekend, I installed IIS on that machine.
I only ever saw a black screen once before and that went away the next time I tried to log in.
Anyway, I've spent time this morning on Google trying to figure out if there is a connection between installing IIS and RDP, but I haven't turned up anything besides to disable bitmap caching and to futz around with packet sizes. I'm a little wary of doing the latter, considering that RPD functioned just fine until IIS.
