So I get to sit here in class using the laptops that the school provides and use my home computer. There is no lag, ,and Remote Desktop is able to adjust the resolution of my home computer (19" LCD) to the laptop screens we have here. I used VNC before, it only allows you to scale the screen size - meaning i either had to scroll on the laptop or deal with smallish sized text. Not to mention its very easy to setup. Now if I could figure out how to easily copy files between the two, that would be pure sweetness.
I realize programs like LapLink have been around to let you do this stuff for years, but that required installing a 3rd party client, or other stuff..the fact that it is built into every copy of WinXP makes Remote Desktop sweet.
