Remote connection while running VPN.

OK, I have 2 PC's; PC A , and PC B . Both running Linux , btw.

PC A is acting as a NAT/PAT Gateway for PC B.

PC A runs a custom kernel to allow the use of Nortel's 3rd Party Unix VPN Client. PC B cannot run this custom kernel due to other dependancy issues.

While PC A is connected to the Nortel VPN server, of course, ALL of it's traffic is restricted to the VPN tunnel, and PC B is unable to communicate.

Is there anyway to have PC B connect to PC A (prefferably over GUI ) while PC A is connected to the VPN ?

Perhaps some sort of serial connection that I could run X-Windows , or similiar, over ?

The goal is to allow me to take advantage of the VPN from PC B .

Any thoughts ?

Oh, and I don't want to script any route changes on the PC A box while it is running the VPN client. (Split Horizon Issues, I think)

I'm guessing the Nortel VPN client is connecting to a Nortel server at your place of employment?

The split tunneling feature would have to be something allowed server-side, and if the server isnt under your control then you'll have to go to whomever controls it.
