Hello everyone, not sure if im posting in the right section but w/e.
My problem is this:I have 2 PCs,1 gaming and 1 slow
my gaming one uses Windows 7 SP1 ->HOST
the slow one uses XP SP3 ->CLIENT
Both are connected in LAN 100mbit only
My brother wants to play games together with me,but his "slow" pc won't run anything. So i need to make a remote connection from his pc to mine.
1.The first thing I have tried is TeamViewer but games were unplayable and even windows is jerky
2.The second program I tried is called Splashtop, windows runs very smooth, games run well, playable but not really enjoyable, can't say what the fps is since its running on the HOST,this is already quite impressive because intensive games otherwise wouldn't run at all on this CLIENT pc.
Question #1:
Which is the program that will give me the highest possible fps when remotely connected? pls link a benchmark or comparison if you can find,i couldn't.I have heard about Remotefx(not sure if related)VMware View,XenDesktop..etc.
Question #2:
When i connect to the HOST pc ,I start using the host mouse cursor, key combinations..etc,so if there is anyone infront of the HOST pc he can't do anything without interrupting me(on the CLIENT pc)Can 2 users, one on the HOST and one on the CLIENT use the HOST pc simultaneously??
Question #3:
The only thing that comes in my mind to fix the issue in previous question,is to make a Virtual Machine, but which one is best?? VMware or Parallels or others(highest fps).
Thats all, please help me out ! sry for the bad english
