remote assistance question

Hi, i want to try "Remote Assistance" in XP... is it like "PC Anywhere"?

and if i don't have MSN Messager, can i still use it?

don't need msn to run rem. ass. it is fair to say that it is somewhat like pcanywhere.

when i click "remote assistance" under program, nothing happen

u need to set it up in control panel...
someone is gonna access your pc or u gonna access someone else's?
if its enabled...u or someone else can access the pc frmo some other pc..
or if u wanna access some else's pc, just putting in the ip will do...basically create a
new connection.

u can do a search for a .rdp file(probably default.rdp)
right-click on it and choose Edit...and enter ip...etc...
