Argh, I NEVER play basketball but it was all in good fun. We came back from dinner and everyone decided on playing B-Ball. Lucky for them, they had on tennis shoes. 6 guys and 2 girls on the basketball courts in the freezing cold outside on the NC State practice courts. I played anyway so I wouldn't look like a wuss in front of the ladies by sitting out b/c of some shoes ;)

Try hobbling around in these boots for an hour and a half. I'm all blistered up and am walking with a limp. Next time, I'll keep a pair of old tennis shoes in the trunk:eek:

Um, at AcaDec nationals my junior year, the airline lost my luggage. I had to walk around Rhode Island in steel-toes for 3 days straight.

The bottoms of me feet are burning (from my feet shifting and sliding around in my shoes while guarding) and my ankles are KILLING me :(

Not really, but it did lead to me making friends with the hotel doorman. Which, when you're 17, in a hotel with girls all over, is quite a useful thing...

NFS4.......

All I can say is moisturize your dogs. If you have blisters they will dry up & start to crack........ hurts like a son-of-a-bee :p

Cheers,
Aquaman

<< Also, never try to run on hard ground with cleats. It'll mess up your feet too >>

Yup, I learned that the hard way. Showed up for the first day of soccer practice in high school and all we did was run (no soccer) on the streets around the school. I tried to stay on the grass as much as possible but it didn't help. My knees have never been the same, 5 years after that. Messed me up bad. Another dude on the team managed to really screw up his hip and sit out the entire season. No good.

How cold can it possibly get in NC? On a cold day, do you hit 10 degrees Celcius (51° F)

lol... I can never feel sorry for someone down south saying its cold :)

Hey Brandon, what the hell??? It was at least 60 @ around 10 last night when I stepped outside to go back to NC State to do submit my homework...

Heh...if you think those were bad, try any dress shoe you'd wear with a suit(socks were stuck to bloody blisters/cuts afterwards) and going full speed in cheap flip-flops. :D

60 is COLD for NC and you know it:p It was colder than that when we were playing (around 11PM). I had the moonroof open on my way down to my pal's apartment (around 7PM) and it was a bit chilly. On the way back to NC State to play B-Ball, I had the moonroof closed and the HEAT on ;)

And Dig, you ever been to Fat Daddys on Glenwood? Awesome food :D
