QFT. the vote suppression efforts in NC might give other states bad ideas for future elections.NC is kind of like Wisconsin. They have a chance to be one of the successful high value add states if they purge themselves of Republicans. Or they can become just another Trump trash state.
I sometimes wonder if Republicans are actively trying to turn their states into shit-holes to discourage liberals from moving in and shifting the politics like what happened in Colorado and Virginia. Like if NC research triangle keeps growing and attracting educated liberals, that could make NC the next VA. But by passing laws unpalatable to liberals, they can turn themselves into flyover country and somehow avoid this.

Can always count on soft liberals to provide handouts when their economics don't work out.
Not this time. Repubs are running the show for at least awhile. After the top tier tax cuts & spending cuts, Donor states will keep more money & dependent states will get less federal money. It's easy enough to see who'll end up suffering.
It's important to be careful what you wish for.

Take note of Trump/Bannon's trillion dollar spending plans. No great mystery which loyalists they're hoping to funnel the money to and through.
You give Repub economic ideology too much credit. Trickle down isn't rain- it's virga. What those hopeful Trump constituencies will receive is likely little to is nothing in that regard. There's nothing in it for the all important job creators who'll just keep on keepin' on as they have for decades.
Those voters will have to make do with confirmation of their culture warrior mentality. They'll take the high hard one... and like it.
"In her first major action as Harris County's incoming district attorney, Kim Ogg announced Friday she has shown 40 prosecutors the door in a massive shake-up as as she prepares to take office Jan. 1."
"Ogg said that the firings were part of her vision for a “culture change” at the DA's office "

Just politics as usual, you get big tears when Republicans do it, but applause and cheers when Democrats do it. Fsking hypocrites.
