I actually talked to my cousin who flew F-16's about it, he highly advised one get a metric sh1tton of hang gliding experience before even thinking about something like that.

I've hurt myself worse than that... but never from that kind of height, just from speed, trees, and a little height(2-5 meters at most...) :Q
