Yeah... they aren't the only place that has found a chicken head in their chicken products. I work at an italian restraunt (we sell mostly pizza + Wings) Sunday evening I was working and we got a phone call that someone found a chicken head in their chicken wings. Lately allot of people have been calling up and saying different crap like their food wasn't prepared right and whatnot... and as a buisness policy we give them their food for free so immediately we told them to bring it in and show us...
We thought they where BullSh!tting us.... THEY WEREN'T... In the 2 and a half years that I've been working there I don't know how many thousands of wings I've counted one by one to be put in the cooler to be sold the next day or even that evening... Never once have I seen a chicken head... Let me tell you... it's the most discusting thing you could ever find in your food.. made me want to heave... so whatever you do.. don't eat at the villa because I don't want to prepare your food and two... check your Chicken products where you go eat from now on and hope you don't find a chicken head.

Cigarette butt in chinese take out (my brother actually spat it out - thats how he found it!)

that's also the only time I've heard of people finding something in their food that shouldn't have been... I guess if your gonna have a customer find something it's to your advantage that it wasn't your fault... we don't look at what wings we count... if it's in the basic shape of a wing... it gets counted... so I guess in that respect we're rather reliable.

I use to work at Winchells donut House. The boss hired a pervert, so I don't need to tell you what he did with the donuts or what was in the donuts. Was always sort of a mystery what a customer was going to bring back the next day. Cigaratte butts was real common, so was a broken comb, broken pencil, pen parts, parts of a shoelace, and dirt. Believe it or not, this is not the amazing part. The amazing part was the customers that found this crap in their donuts and accepted our apology along with a free dozen donuts!!!

Nothing like a home cooked meal. :) I rarely eat from fast food restaurants, so I never encountered anything like that. BTW ? How come all the stories I?ve heard of FF (fast food) restaurants happened in the U.S.? :)

I ate at a "fancy" restauraunt the other day with my g/f and two friends...

I found a freaking long hair in my food and complained to the waitress....

She said "Would you like me to take that away for you?"

I was like WTF?!?! No apology, no sympathy, I was speechless....

Later on she offered me a free damn dessert... I declined.... And left her b!tch ass no tip....

How do you think restauraunts should handle situations like that?

well.. what we did... was we refunded the peoples money... we gave them their order done over again for free (2 pizzas like loaded with topings (topings are expensive) and 50 wings W/O a chicken head in it) and we gave them 2 free two liter sodas and we gave them a $20 gift certificate for free...

BTW: Don't quote me on that, but I know it was close to that.

but that was for something that was lawsuit material...

My brother owns a restaurant and I've seen this happen a few times, someone returns food with a hair in it, and you look at the hair and it clearly belongs to the customer, I mean it will be a long blonde hair when that's exactly what the woman eating had and no one even close to that works in the place, sure if there is real stuff in your food it's gross but I mean if I picked up food with what I knew to be my hair in it I wouldn't send it back, but again so many people nowadays are just looking for something for free anyway I would think they would just yank one out and put it in there themselves.

Yes, when it comes to the word "free" people make up some of the corniest lies. I've been there long enough to have some of my food rejected for no other reason but they ordered it wrong and then complained about it.

People are not always right, but they are if you're not the one serving them.

My mom had a fly baked in her bread once at a fair or something. Needless to say she wasn't too happy.

one time my friends and i were at denny's, and guess what my friend found in his fries... he found some sort of green worm thing. it was wiggling around, and i'd say it was around 1/3 of a centimeter in length. i don't know how he could of seen it, but good thing he did. heh, they offered him a free dessert for the hassle.

I once had 1/8 of a glass jar INSIDE my jar of fudge dessert topping. It came out covered with fudge, so I didn't see it until I BIT it. The shape and grooves of it matched the original jar exactly. Mishap at the factory I guess.... I could have raised some hell, but I didn't even call the company. --Just took the jar out, cussed a little bit, and continued to enjoy my ice cream. :)

I once found a metal thread in my soup at a restaraunt. Upon showing it to the waitress she just nonchalauntly said, "Oh, thats just from the scrub pads we use", like it was nothing. My reply was "WTF, and I suppose if I found a kinky black hair you'd say 'oh, thats just from Juan in back!'" Everyone around me in the restaraunt was laughing their asses off.

Er, maybe you had to be there... :)

I had a long black hair baked into a cake donut once. Noticed the hair when it was in my throat, and I had to reach in and pull it out.

I spewed the chewed up donut and felt rather gross.
