In that thread someone compared AT to a site called FARK. Apparently AT is quite smaller than FARK. It's also been suggested, when it's brought up that Anantech forums might not grow anymore due to newcomers having to experience the slowness of the nonsubscription forum and therefore wouldn't bother to register or join, that maybe Anand doesn't want the forums to grow anymore due to the fact that he's losing money on them. I was just wondering if maybe FARK is doing something that Anand has overlooked to be able to be so big without having to resort to selling subsriptions to offset the loss of running such a big site.
