A "how to" guide for terroism. It was sold mail order for many, many years. I saw one on ebay a couple of months ago. There was an effort a few years ago to get this book banned, but I don't think it ever was.

Maybe now is a good time to outlaw it. We don't need to give instructions to a bunch of copycat punks.

It is also known as 'The Jolly Ro(d)ger', and it is available on the internet EVERYWHERE. It is a load of bullshit. It doesn't really tell you anything you don't already know.

As this topic came up, I immediately started looking for the book, what I found out that not only is there this book, but there is also a book named "The Terrorist Handbook". just thought I'd point that out so people aren't taking shots at the wrong book.

The Jolly Roger LOL

We as a free country cannot start banning books like this.

Ever heard of Freedom Of Speach ?

Remember the Nazi's ?

They burned books ;)

lol, that book is a joke. we'd be better off banning the weight watcher's cookbook; their recipes suck.

Why not ban terrorism and terrorists too. That outta help!

Do you really think by banning books you are going to stop those who want to read them from reading them?

Anyway, the new Jolly Roger has only inert formulas now I believe...the older one is suppose work. Anyway, most of it isn't something you couldn't get from a good chemistry book/class and a little tinkering with solvents and chemicals out in the woods.

I used to have that book. I remember one thing out of it, something called "nut busters." They would take your ordinary plastic piping, just large enough to fit a 12 gauge shotgun shell comfortably inside. They would then put some "wings" (sorry, don't know of the more accurate term) on the side of the pipe to give it direction and stability, a cork on the bottom (same side as the primer on the shell), and put a large nail through the cork right over the primer, but with enough space so that when thrown off a building, the nail would strike the primer, and... yah, thus the term nut busters.

Sounds like it'd work, don't think I'd ever want to try it though.

Do the stuff in that "cookbook" and you'll be on a first name basis with the ER nurse.

it's not a guide to terrorism, it's a guide for 14 year old boys on how to make fun toys.... the 'devices' in MOST variations of the guide were not powerful enough to cause serious damage.... And contrary to what has been said here, almost all of them work like they are supposed to.... who knew drain cleaner could be so much fun?
