Generally speaking having experienced public health workers shift their focus to the more imminent public health concern is a good thing. This to me sounds like a sad reflection of the crisis we face globally.

I'm old enough that I remember the polio epidemic. I was 8 - 9 year old, and while it was a way back, I still sense that my parents, and my friends parents were terrified.

Perhaps if COVID-19 was as dangerous to children as it is for older people, it would be taken a whole lot more serious, especially those that seem all too eager to throw their grandparents under the bus, so they can party and not be inconvenienced.

I remember lining up in school to get the oral vaccine. IIRC, it took 3 doses...or maybe it was 3 different vaccines.

Celebrating the deaths of people again?

That's why most of us in that generation kept up with our vaccines. From shingles to flu to tetanus and others. It was up to the whiny little spoiled bitches full of angst, anger and hatred that went anti-vaxxer.

Dude probably want be careful throwing stones. With your relationship to facts there’s basically no difference between you and the crunchy granola eating types who believe vaccines cause autism.

And the reason that millennials don't need to worry about the shingles vaccine is because we made sure our kids got the chickenpox vaccine. But they are doing their damnest to make shingles a things for themselves as well.
