remember mystery science theater 3000?

<< I loved that show. It was not as good after Joel left though. >>

My thoughts exactly...

MST3K, another fine institution brought to you by the people of Minnesota. 😀

That show rocked. I liked the Gamera series the best.

<< that show ruled, wasn't there talk about making a movie of mst3k or something? >>

They Did!

I've never laughed so hard when watching a movie. I actually cried laughing. 😀😀😀😀😀

This was one of the best shows ever. And of course, I mean during the early seasons when Joel was on it. They need to put out a DVD 'best of' collection-I'd buy it in a second. When Joel left and Mike took over, it wasn't that great. Then , when the show moved from Comedy Central to Sci-Fi, the show really started sucking.

I really have had an urge to watch this show lately, and I found this thread...

So, is this show still aired anywhere? I can't seem to find it in my local listings. Are there any VHS/DVDs for sale (besides the movie)??? I really want to watch this show again 🙁

It still comes on at 9am on Saturday mornings on the Sci-Fi channel. Of course I'm never awake so I always miss it. Unfortunately they don't have much variety in the episodes they air, and many are likely to never be seen again (at least as long as Sci-Fi has the rebroadcasting rights).

Stupid USA Networks (who owns Sci-Fi) canned the series even though it was the only non-syndicated show I would ever watch on their network. Their original programming sucks.

They do have a few episodes out on VHS I believe.

Whadda mean do I remember? I still watch that show every Saturday morning 9AM on the SciFi Channel! Also Rhino is releasing DVDs (slowly but surely) from the ol' Comedy Central days. Check Amazon.com for their stock.

I remember when it was produced and aired locally on KTMA-23, over in NE Minneapolis. Now that was a long time ago. I was still little. I'm glad Comedy Channel (what it was called at the time) picked up the show and gave it to the rest of you.
