I am not saying you have to buy into Christianity or any world religion for that matter, but looking at it like any text, you can not help but see the parallel ideas.
Satan or evil enters the world through an act of disobediance of a woman, Eve.
Christ or Salvation enters the world through an act of obediance of a woman, Mary.
She bore a child.
She bore salvation.
