Religion teaches us that when we die we go to a better place where we wait for our loved ones ...

so shouldn't we be happy when someone dies? or are we so impatient that we cry?

We cry even if we haven't seen that person for 15 years. Just knowing they are no longer on this planet makes us weep.

We cry because we have an emotional connection with the person who will not be in our lives any longer. We have to deal with a part of our lives not being there any longer. It is our loss.

It's because deep down, we know that when someone dies, they're dead. We hope they're in a better place, but we don't know, and thus we feel the loss.

Cause it is all a frigging fairy tale, but they get you to give them lots of your money while they blow smoke up your ass that it will buy your way to a better place, when in fact you will just be dead.
