Religion huh.. Who would have dreamed it would come to this? I did.

I woke up this morning from the strangest dream I have ever had.
For some reason I am in what appears to a doctor’s office. All of the people are wearing the same color pants, color though is unimportant as I cannot remember. They all are wearing what appear to be medical smocks that are blazing red.

All the "nurses" keep asking me what time did I want to make an appointment. I kept asking what am I making an appointment for but no one would answer me. They were all being very vague, kind of like the Twilight Zone episode of the old man hunting with his dog.

Frustrated I started to get up and walk out, when I passed a man sitting on a stool behind the "nurses station". He also was dressed the same as the others around him but appeared to more prominent.

He said something which I do not remember what it was. I replied "Where I am", again I received a vague answer. By this time I was pissed and wanted an answer, however after another vague answer, I put two and two together and it hit me that I was in a "Hells Office" if you will. The appointment was for what time I wanted to arrive.

The man in the chair said something else and I replied “I do not know my Bible by heart but I know that Jesus died for my sins. We are all sinners and I am a sinner but if I believe in Him which I do then I am going to Heaven." I told him he could not have me because I was saved and believed in Christ.

I swung a lower uppercut at him which would have landed squarely on his jaw but my fist went straight through head like he was a ghost and then the dreamed stopped.

I do not believe any one religion particularly because of those who were killed in the name of them and those who kill/ or killed in the name of them. I do not impose my beliefs on anyone nor do I want someone to do this to me. I am in no means a “Bible Thumper”.

So what do you think this means?

Crazy dream man. Obviously it doesn't mean anything specifically, but maybe you have some thoughts floating around about religion? Not sure.

I had a dream once where I was in my old apartment in college. The living room couch was an old beat up sectional that curved around the rear wall. The wall with the TV was normal, but where the end of the couch would have butted up to the adjacent wall the wall was missing. In place of the wall appeared to be an hole that opened up into what looked like an empty meat processing plant of the sort that are always being shown in those documentaries about how inhumane chicken meat is.

All that was irrelevant though, because reclining on the couch was my old friend Louis. This was strange because Louis had died of a drug overdose when I was in my early twenties. In the dream I remembered that he was dead, so I sat on the floor next to him and proceeded to ask him about the afterlife. He was pretty noncommittal about the whole thing, answering most of my questions with responses like "It's pretty cool, but different". At one point I asked him if there was a god. He said something like "There's definitely something. It's hard to describe. It's like some kind of animal". Shortly after that I woke up.

I woke up from that one feeling really weirded out. Of course it was just a dream, but it felt very real and detailed. It's one of the rare dreams that I remember quite clearly. I'm still an atheist though.

The medical professionals in pants represent all the stresses of your daily life, problems clamoring for resolution. The appointment they are asking you for represents the time pressures related to solving these problems. The uppercut that passed through the prominent nurse represents the futility of raging against the system that produces all the problems that are clamoring for your attention. The fact that the dream stopped after the futile punch represents that there will be no further discussion.

I had a dream that my family picture was in the Bible! LOL! And get this! The book was called temptation. You know, like the book of John, Matthew and Luke. But this was the book of temptation. Fuck if I know what that means.

I have had nightmarish dreams with zombies and grim reapers and once I had a dream that was so awful I was glad there was such a thing as darkness.

I'm spiritual though and have read most of the bible. I can't remember each passage though.

For the record I was a sinner, but now I pray to God and ask for forgiveness.

I had a dream that I had a class I needed to graduate, but I had forgotten about the class and I had a project due that day in class. I was trying to finish the project while the professor was giving a lecture. I also really needed to pee.

I had a dream where I was bitten by a zombie and felt myself slowly turning into one of them.

I still have the taking a test or needing to study for a class dreams many years after college. I suspect it's triggered by having too long of a to-do list at work.

Hmm, I probably should finish lunch and get back to work. (munch munch) brainnsssss.....
