Not with you Vic, and this is about religion anyhow not rights and laws.
Hey, you brought it up. The issue was that your "logic" didn't have any logic. Rights and laws are intangibles too, which many people (like yourself) are known to be quite emotional, irrational, and downright religious about.
While I think Steeple's position is overly broad and unreasonably harsh, he is attempting to discuss the OP. I couldn't help but notice, however, that every single one of your posts in this thread has been a gratuitous personal attack. Why is that?
Just returning the favor.

No shlt. Rot even bad-mouthed my parents. 😀

Good old Vic, savior of the oppressed majority, the rich, the spoiled and the selfish. You go girl

And if you could hold your own Baa maybe you wouldn't need idiot-boi to come to your rescue. Not that he is capable of doing anything more then making himself look like a desperate hotheaded lunatic)

*passes over some lube to make sure Vic doesent get too "sensitive" next time you need to stroke him off*

Does anyone else see the irony in this?

The british as a people have been killing people in the name of religion since they learned how to pick up rocks and sticks in the stone age. They taught people to burn people at the stake just for being the wrong religion. They are the root cause of these problems. Their quest for domination and power over countries like Ireland and Stocland have brought nothing but pain and suffering for their entire region. The Roman took over scotland and parts of France. Germany Spain, and France also tried to kill each other and the british.

People came to the USA to escape the oppression of the kings and lords of the Europeans.

In my family history is a warning to never to forget the Tyrany of the British.

Now they are incredibly secular, more so than the United States.

Tell that to those who gain strength through their faith... I'm not one of them, but I see a lot of good being done throughout the world by members of every religion. Feeding the homeless, promoting literacy, providing medical care, helping people recover from drug and alcohol addiction, etc... Organized religion also does a semi-decent job instilling a good moral foundation in children.

Therefore, organized religion is a very useful tool, just as it was intended to be from the beginning.

You cannot ignore all of the good things that religion brings to the world simply because a bunch of fanatical asshats are running around being evil in the name of one religion or another. Those who do so are the exception, not the rule.

I'm not a member of any organized religion. I'm a Deist of my own sort; But, I still see it as doing more good than bad.

I agree with this guy. Though I am biased technically. I am Christian. Never thought I would live in a day and time where I would be seen as a bigoted, stupid, and mindless sheep for believing in God. 🙁

You see this is the AMAS forum. Athiest Mutual Admiration Society. Here you learn that Stalin wasn't an athiest rather a god-man though no one believed it. Here you learn that you are stupid and athiests are superior to you. Here you learn all about good and evil, although with no superior authority defining it, right and wrong are illusion and as false as the God you believe in. Why? Because they have faith that they are right. Since you can't produce God when you want they have to be right. Just ask them. They are smarter than you after all, just ask them.
